 OUR SPECIALTY SERVICES

We offer a complete selection of general and specialty dental services, including cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, and sedation, to ensure our patients get all the care they need in one convenient location. Explore a few of our specialty services below.

SEDATION DENTISTRY

If you have anxiety when it comes to dental procedures, sedation dentistry helps keep you calm and comfortable. While the options range from mild to moderate, patients are never completely unconscious, making it a safe solution.

 IS SEDATION SAFE?

If you decide to go with sedation dentistry, you can feel comfortable knowing that your oxygen levels and blood pressure are being monitored throughout the entire procedure. Even if you fall into a light sleep, you can respond to any commands without remembering the intimidating parts of the procedure.

candidate1

 AM I A SUITABLE
 CANDIDATE FOR SEDATION?

Any patient who has a dental phobia or a strong fear of the dentist is a strong candidate for sedation dentistry. Having a strong gag reflex or sensitivity to sights and sounds during treatment can also make you a viable candidate. However, to ensure that sedation doesn’t negatively affect you, we suggest you visit your primary care physician to go over your medical history or
pre-existing conditions.

 WHAT CAN I EXPECT
 AFTER SEDATION?

The mildest forms of sedation can leave you drowsy and lightheaded for a few hours after the procedure, but most patients can return to their daily routines shortly after the procedure. Still, it’s important that if you elect for deep sedation, you should have someone else drive you to and from your appointment.

COSMETIC DENISTRY

If you’re hoping to improve the look and function of your teeth, we perform many different cosmetic procedures to improve the appearance of your smile.

 PORCELAIN VENEERS

These are thin shells of custom-made dental porcelain placed on your front teeth. They are not only stain-resistant, but they can blend into your surrounding teeth. Porcelain veneers can be a solution to many different issues, including chips, cracks, gaps, misalignments, misshapenness, or stains. Our doctors will talk with you about your ideal smile and establish a custom design for your porcelain veneers. You’ll wear temporary veneers while our team handcrafts the final product.

 COSMETIC BONDING

Chips, stains, gaps, and cracks in your teeth can take away from an attractive smile, but if you don’t want to invest in veneers, you’re not out of luck. Cosmetic bonding is generally a faster and less expensive option than veneers. While it doesn’t last as long as veneers, cosmetic bonding resists stains, so it holds its natural-looking color.

 COSMETIC ORTHODONTICS

While braces are mostly associated with a younger demographic, adults have gravitated toward orthodontics more than ever. They are still an effective way to correct your bite and reposition your teeth for cosmetic reasons. Modern braces can be made from clear or tooth-colored structures. At Braydich, our doctors will help determine the best solution for your teeth and lifestyle. This could include functional orthodontics, as well as cosmetic orthodontics, to reposition your teeth.

 TEETH WHITENING

When performed by a dentist, teeth whitening is very effective. Many people try to whiten their teeth with over-the-counter systems, but the dentist can administer a higher concentration of the whitening solution. An in-office teeth whitening is done in an hour, but you can also opt for a professional take-home kit, which will do the job in about two weeks. Whether you choose the in-office solution or the take-home one, both options deliver excellent results of up to 10 shades difference.

PREVENTATIVE DENTISTRY

When it comes to your dental health, it’s always better to be proactive than reactive. At Braydich Dental, our staff performs many preventative techniques to help you avoid oral health issues.

 BI-YEARLY CHECKUPS

The American Dental Association recommends dental checkups twice a year to assess your oral health. In order to keep your teeth in tiptop shape, a checkup can include any of the following services:

  • Dental X-rays
  • Digital photos
  • Tooth-by-tooth inspection
  • Head and neck exam
  • Occlusion/bite analysis
  • Oral cancer screening
  • Gum disease assessment
  • Dental cleaning
  • Treatment consultation

 DENTAL CLEANINGS

Dental cleanings not only remove plaque and freshen your breath, but they reduce the risk for tooth decay and gum disease. When you come to your appointment, one of our dental hygienists will assess your soft tissues, record the results, and compare them to your last visit. Regular cleanings are necessary to avoid gum disease, which is the main cause of tooth loss for adults in the United States.

 MOUTHGUARDS

Taking precautions to protect your mouth against injury while playing sports is pivotal, yet often overlooked. That’s why every athlete should prioritize a custom mouthguard to protect your teeth, mouth, and jaw from injury.

While over-the-counter athletic mouthguards can be effective and are better than no protection at all, custom-fitted mouthguards provide optimal protection. Our dentists will be happy to fabricate a mouthguard based on your dental impression.

 SEALANTS AND FLOURIDE

A dental sealant is a clear plastic coating that is painted on the back of your teeth to protect against sugars and starches that cause tooth decay. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that strengthens tooth enamel and deters cavity-causing bacteria. We apply sealants and fluoride onto hard-to-clean teeth to reduce the risk of cavities in children, teens, and adults.

ORTHODONTICS

Our orthodontics solutions can help you accomplish a straighter smile, whether it’s through traditional braces, cosmetic braces with Six Month Smiles, or clear aligners
with Invisalign. Meet with the team at
Braydich to discuss
the best treatment
option for you.

 INVISALIGN CLEAR ALIGNERS

These aligners are made of a clear, flexible plastic that carefully applies force to gradually shift teeth into the proper position. While you wouldn’t be able to remove braces before eating, Invisalign clear aligners can easily be removed, so your diet doesn’t need to be adjusted. People won’t even notice that you’re wearing them, and you can switch to a new set of aligners every two weeks.
